personally, i recommend just checking out come to daddy...it is an ep that basically sums up his entire range. it also has some of his best material, imo. if you like is as much i do, you will definitely be interested in tracking down the rest of his stuff.

I will. It seems like he releases a lot of conceptual EPs - something I really like and do myself.

Yeah Come to Daddy is a good place to start because of the range of styles within, and it's not too long. Then get Richard D. James Album.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

i think the easiest way to answer this is to find out what piece of your music was getting the comparison. Aphex Twin is all over the place, knowing what style your track was would help making your starting point simpler.

Come to Daddy is awesome and all, especially if you made some spastic electro beats, but personally i really prefer his more ambient / neo-classical stuff.

I listened to most of that earlier...sounds good but at the same time, expected.

yup. though i wouldn't mind an album of new Aphex Twintm material. the Analord stuff was alright but i like the stuff he puts out under this moniker best.

Yup, me too. I don't care if it's typical Aphex Twin, I still want a new album.
