I heard some song with a Didjeredoo (sp) in it, and it was cool for the novelty but I would never throw it on a mix

I love that video it's one of my favorites.

I've been binging on Aphex Twin latley. My favorite album by him is the Richard D. James Abum. Pretty off the wall material on there. I dig it, a lot.

I ail got my hands on all the analord stuff recently and I have to say there are some pure analog gems on there. Unfortunately this being AFX I cant remember any track titles. Tracks like RX554$y3_11"! are not conducive to easy brain access

I would say Druk Qs is Aphex's best album. Come to daddy is good too. Some people would argue these albums are too commercial but I don't agree. I think his other albums are OK but theyre a bit boring. If youve never heard vordhosbn, come to daddy, film, fenix funk five, **** ver 10, taking control, ziggomatic 14, zeros and ones (remix), spotlight (remix) you should check these tracks out...

I think 1% is an EP or mini-album. I definitely have never seen it in stores. Aphex Twin's early ambient techno (Selected Ambient Works 85-92) is very good and like nothing else heard before when it came out. I like his new drill'n'bass/hardcore breakbeat stuff too. The new 26 Mixes For Cash is really wicked. Weak points (in my opinion) are Selected Ambient Works II which is mostly lengthy and downright boring pieces, and Drukqs, which is a double-disc set of brief and weird songs. Definitely pick up the Come To Daddy EP, as that is his most well-known song. Right now I believe Richard D. James (the Aphex Twin) is doing a set of 11 EPs called Analord, which are a throwback to the old-skool acid techno sound (like Didgeridoo II I guess).
Just in case anybody wanted to know.

IDM is my favourite. I'm . . . getting excited. I'll just name some stuff I know.
Autechre, Orbital, Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, mu-Ziq, Luke Slater, Global Communication, ect. This ranges from beautiful melodic beats to jazz-influenced drill'n'bass, to pummeling drums, and so on. IDM is weird because you never know what it will sound like.
