stay away from the dronier stuff unless it's interesting.

Well, what's your starting point? Have you listened to much ambient? Should I start with Eno?

I've listened to a fair amount of Eno. Maybe his lesser known albums I'll take recs for I love Before and After Science and Airports and Here Come the Warm Jets.
