Autechre is great, Amber is my favorite really like the use of ambience on there.

I don`t get why amber is so popular. it`s too simplistic for me, personally.
I prefer the harsher side of their sound. it`s more challenging and entertaining to listen to. Everything after (and including) Confield is great.

I downloaded that last night, it's great! Unreal how it goes by so fast, it feels like 6 minutes.

I tend to agree. It's a good album but too ambient, not abstract enough.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I'm sure this joke has been made but

How to Name Tracks Like Autechre:

Step 1: raise hands above keyboard
Step 2: drop them, mashing keyboard in a random fashion
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit

On the whole I don't think much of Amber. But Glitch and piezo are two of my favourite electronica tracks. I love Quaristice as a whole album. Plyphon is incredible and simm and notwo are cool. I love Leterel from tri repetae, Stepreo and osveix from oversteps, Pce freeze 2.8i from move of ten and acroyear (dont know the album).

Tri Repetae is a ****ing brilliant album but it annoys me, the whole "DERPY INCOMPLETE WITHOUT SURFACE NOISE LOLOL GO BUY THE VINYL XDXXD!" **** that, I don't want to hear crackling **** all over my music thank you.

But yeah, it's a good album. I like Confield too.

it almost doesn't sound like them. it sounds like acid and it's a little less abstract than some of the stuff on oversteps and quaristice.
