Talking I need music advice

Ok so Im good at the high-energy indie rock parts. and Im pretty good at funk/art rock parts. but i want to bring in some ambient influence. ive tried and i suck at krautrock and electronic prog like Neu!,Kraftwerk and Can. What are some good ambient artists and what are their best albums?
My biggest influences are:
Radiohead
Jane's Addiction
Dinosaur Jr
Mars Volta
Explosions in The Sky
Sigur Ros'
Guns 'N Roses
Drive Like Jehu
Autechre (recently...)
Modest Mouse
Refused
and a little Ink and Dagger.

Ambient(ish)?

Some of my Favs
Boards of Canada - Music Has the Right to Children
Kruder & Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions
Godspeed You Black Emperor! - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
Sigur Ros - Ágætis Byrjun

Some others.. Air, Brian Eno, Massive Attack, Stereolab, Morcheeba, Mogwai

Will stop there as I figure you've heard some of these and can figure out what your like/dislike before adding more

You need to seriously get the David Holmes album Bow Down To The Exit Sign.

No explanation needed , just get it & thank me afterwards

David Holmes is really good. Even the stuff he did for the Ocean's 11/12 movies were pretty good.

My recommendation- Brian Eno.
