see, I WOULD point out exactly what is wrong with your thinking, and how unbelievably uneducated you are, but you're 12, no one really cares what your political views are. Once you grow up, hopefully you'll gain some insight into how politics work, until then, either take the initiative to educate yourself, or keep your thoughts to yourself.

How can what you personally think about something be wrong? What one thinks about something need not be factual for it to be an opinion.

It's her opinion that voting doesn't do any good. You're right, it doesn't mean she's wrong, it means she's an idiot when it comes to political affairs.

Lots of people promote themselves as idiots when expressing their opinion, albeit it doesn't make them wrong.
