I dunno really. South Park gets a bit too preachy sometimes, which is irritating, but some of the newer Simpsons episodes I've seen are absolute rubbish. At its best though, Simpsons win anyday.

I think the Simpsons needs to be done now. I used to love it...but now I watch the new stuff and just think, "Why?...."

I reckon the writers are victims of their own hype these days. They've had so many people going on about how brilliant their earlier work is that they've forgotten you've actually gotta put your back into writing good comedy.

Somehow they still reel in the high ratings though. Certainly on this side of the pond you're guaranteed to have at least one or two episodes on everyday, so I guess they won't stop 'til it stops selling really.
