What has been the best decision made on MB ever?

I think mine would have to be the banning of alex7. That kid really annoyed me, and hope they never allow him back.

we've been a site for 2 years and 2 months. You've been here for 8% of the time we've been a site. I doubt you have the knowledge to make a best decision ever thread simply based on the time you've been here.


The best decision ever was to let moderators have the power to ban people.

He was this annoying little kid who picked a fight with everyone and constantly double posted, spammed and the like. He was really annoying, and I'm sure you would have agreed with me if you knew him.

I've only just noticed the comment he made. Some people do take things seriously here. Okay then, I'll close this thread, you go create it, and we'll see how much of a change that makes. Or I'll change the name of the thread to "Best decision in the past 2 months." Some people get really protective over MB. It's a forum-not yours, not his, not hers, everybodys. I'll post what I think has been the best decision made on MB, and you post what you think has been the best decision. What are you going to do, close the thread? Oh, sorry, I forgot that you can't-I'm not breaking any rules. So therefore, if I'm not breaking any rules, it's okay. You haven't been on the forum since THE VERY DAY IT STARTED, so if I can't pass judgement, then neither can you-an even greater decision than the one you have suggested might have been made before you arrived on the seen. You are being hypocritical, when all you need to do is answer the question or not. So just sit down and shut up.

Maybe not. I'm allowed my opinion, and still think that we should keep this thread on topic. RAR said his piece, and I replied with mine. You don't expect me to let stupid comments die down, do you? If you want to start an argument, then you should be prepared to have people argue back.

i could say it, but i dont feel that getting banned for telling you how annoying you are is worth it, so i wont. alright, you want to stay on topic, then..... the best decision was when they unbanned me :P sorry fenix.

I wasn't personally attacking you. Take it easy. I'm merely stating that not having been here for very long, you don't have the proper oversight in order to truly state the best decision. If you think the best decision was the banning of someone than you should have mentioned something about how moderators didn't recieve such power till almost July '04. Without that decision, "alex7" would still be on here. But you couldn't know that being here as short as you have been.

And you're right, I haven't been here since the beginning. Only since Feb '04. So saying "we" probably wasn't the best choice of words. But you overreacted. That's all.

Maybe the decision to make this thread would be one of the worst decisions. I honestly wouldn't have thought it would have caused this much trouble, but it has done so I'll probably just unsubscribe and let it die a lonely death...

the myg0t attack was when we had a bunch of stupid flamers from this myg0t forum who just signed up and spammed everything with anti-emo threads and such, so we countered and spammed them up butt good.

Fun times.

Well, I posted something wrong. I never put much thought into the creation of the thread, and made it quickly. I'm not a drama queen, I just got agrrivated is all. Hypocritical comments annoy me.

The best decision to my knowledge was this sub-forum. haha Also the mods getting to ban people was smart because the admins are rarely on...

i think the best decision...at least lately, was to make the games sun forum. however new it is...its already promoted a lot of good conversation in the lounge. im happy with it...how about the rest of you?

I personally love it so far.

Although it's early days yet it really has helped out quite a bit. This may sound dumb but I honestly think people are far more willing to make good topics in the lounge now because they know they won't get washed away in a matter of hours by a heap of fun threads.

no...actually that doesnt sound dumb...that was the intent.

I did & got publicly attacked for my trouble with no right of reply :)
