It's a Wandering Jew requirement. Every now and then a Wandering Jew wanders too far, gotta call for a ride! The camera is a precaution for the Jew to record historic and/or stunning events! Such as...car accidents, your neighbor's boobs, etc. Or when a Wandering Jew must part the water, or banish a plague, etc.
