Freestyle Rap Battle 1

Hey! I was wondering if anybody wanted to participate in a rap battle on here. We could get maybe 3 people per battle, then after like 5 raps per person, we could hold a poll and the wider community could vote on who won.

I'm definitely in. Don't post a rap yet, just put your name down so I know you want to be part of this first rap. If I get enough people and you can't be in this one, I'll put you in the next one!

We'll decide rhyme scheme, themes, etc. later, but now I just want to see who's interested!

Sort of tough for it to be truly "freestyle" on a forum though?

2. How are you wanting your participants to post their raps? (i.e. YouTube)

3. I really hope your not going for one of those "post your lyrics" kind of things, because that's REALLY lame.

Other than that, good luck to everyone. I can't wait to see what people come up with.

Well, originally, it was going to be a "post your lyrics" kind-of thing. I agree with you that something of that nature would be immensely lame, but please offer a better alternative, or that's what we're doing.

I'm down. Lets try just lyrics first and see if its too lame. If it is we could move to recording and uploading files on youtube or mediafire or something. I dunno if everyone has access to a mic but I mean even a sh!tty mic will work if you can understand the lyrics. Let's do this!!!!!!

Sounds cool. Now I think we should get one more person on board before we start or it's just gonna look lame (a 2-man thread is pretty pathetic). So just hang in there.....
