Thats one way or you can link. if you look at an image location on the web (right click and check properties it will show you the image location) then type [img*]image location[/img*] without the * it will stick the picture in your post.

as an example
[img*]http://www.kernelthread.com/tt/images/s7.jpg[/img*]

becomes
