Four!? Pray tell, what do they all do?

First of all a mac is a PC. Its a personal computer just like any computer running a windows based OS. What a mac is not is a multi-party frankenstein's monster of a piece of machinery. Everything that comes standard on and in a mac was made by apple and designed, the hardware and the software, to work perfectly integrated with each other. The OS X operating system works perfectly all the time every time. Its practical, functional, and simple.
I consider Spending extra money on a computer system that is easy, reliable and extremely low-maintenance to be a wise and prudent investment. Sure i'm guilty of being someone who would prefer to spend my time using my computer rather than fixing it or on the phone with tech support trying to find out why i cant install my peripherals. Basically nobody cares if you got a shiny ultra-fast car if its always in the shop getting worked on.
At first glance it would seem that a macs specs are less impressive than a windows based sysytem, but the fact is that a mac utilizes its processor and Ram much more efficiently than a PC because of how well all of the componets of the mac are integrated.
I have a 2.0 dual processor (1.07 Ghz) with 2 gigs of ram, which is the slowest machine mac currently makes and I have yet to see why i would need it to be any faster.
I'll admit that I do like the mac brand. Macs are cool! The marketing campaigns are very reflective of the overall personality of their products. And unlike Windows Mac do have personality. When I bought my new Macbook last month I tried to break down and buy a windows based computer to save some money, but I just couldn't let myself do it. I don't trust them. This is my 2nd mac in 7 years. my first is still up and running fine.
I haven't had any problems with that one either. Between two macs I have called apple customer support zero times. Maybe their is something to this Mac business?

This argument is far more epic than the two platforms even warrant.
