I went into software engineering with an ambition to become a game developer and nowadays the idea sounds less and less appealing because I'm finding other software areas I'm interested in, the games industry is a very tough one, I want to have a life outside my career, and I don't have time at the moment to hone my graphics programming skills.

So I now consider game development a viable option rather than a blind ambition... I may or may not go into it. While I'm certain I have the capability, there are many downsides to it as well.

I'm way too old for this, but this looks fun and I'm bored. So here goes:

1. I'm recovering from Xanax withdrawals and skinny as a stick.

2. I've been married with kids most of my adult life.

3. The only other IRL person I know who has my taste in music is about 10 years younger than me.

4. I used to be a wedding singer.

5. I have tons of musical potential (voice, piano) but hardly any time or energy.

6. My sister and I used to sing duets that brought tears to people's eyes. I hardly ever see her anymore.

7. I have panic attacks when my kids get sick.

8. My oldest boy almost died when he was 4 months old.

9. Music calms me down.

10. I'm a very crunchy tree hugging, organic gardening, health nut.

11. But sometimes I cheat. Or get lazy.

12. I love the kind of chick music most guys just don't get, but I also love to rock out.

13. In high school I was a sort of a brainy misfit that some people respected but nobody really knew.

14. The state of the world right now makes my cry.

15. The thing I got called the most as a kid was lazy. I still get called that.

16. I don't think I'm lazy. I'm tired and inconsistent, but my brain is always working on something.

17. I'm a film freak. I probably watch more movies than film critics.

18. I never went to college.

19. I'm really insecure about my lack of formal education. I've read millions of books on every subject imaginable, but it doesn't seem to count if you have no degree.

20. I've recieved the honorary title of doctor from many of my friends and family. I'm the one people go to for help.

21. I'm very quick and decisive.

22. I can sometimes seem very authoritative, blunt, smug, etc. But I don't mean to. I'm just sure of what I know.

23. Crowds make me anxious and tired.

24. I have the nervous habit of pulling on my lip.

25. My speech is very precise, which makes me sound pretentious, although I'm not at all.

because i too am bored

1) i grew up in a tiny little texas down, population 3,000,.....
2) i'm addicted to starbucks,.....i drink a double tall, 1 pump white mocha, two pump cinn dolce, nonfat, no whip, extra foam latte,......OR quad espresso over ice with two splenda and soy,......in the mornings i crave their pumpkin loaf
3) i'm in love with a married man
4) my favorite color is orange
5) i smoke half a pack of virgina slim ultra lights a day,....a pack if i'm goin to the bar
6) my hair is naturally curly, but i conform to the beauty standards of today and straighten it,...which is bad
7) every morning i have to listen to the allman brother's sweet melissa atleast once while i'm gettin ready
8) i competed in 3 day eventing and dressage from the time i was 8 until i was 14
9) i stopped competeing after my best friend and ridding partner, emily died and havent been in a show ring since,......sometimes i miss it
10) i always have a fly rod in the car and a box of flies in my purse
11) i'm obsessed with texas history
12) i went over two years without speaking to either of my parents once,....
13) i read three books at a time
14) i get sick all winter long,...some of it i think is mental because i hate the winter so much
15) someday i will live in a tree house in chile and it will be like my own ewok kingdom
16) i was raised by two polygraph examiners
17) i go to weddings just for the cake
18) when i run i hear cadences in my head
19) my phone ringtones are always some variance of the rolling stones
20) i like to make up stories about people as they walk by
21) i used to disapear for months at a time without tellin anyone

24) when i meet new people i like to throw out big lebowski quotes to see if they pick up on them,...when they do i know i'll be friends with those people

I have no journalism degree, but I can spell and write very well. Only problem is nobody seems to want a writer with no degree. Maybe we could combine identities! LOL

I didn't finish mine a while back so I deleted and will start again.

1. I only see the world with one eye as i'm partially sighted in my left so my brain ignores it!
2. I'm English so I like to take the piss. Unfortunately on a predominantly American user site I have to tone down my infamous wit.
3. My film tastes leave people non-plussed. I love well crafted, beautifully filmed, cerebral films. I also love Cheesy B action movies, Italian giallos and sick horror shit. I just rarely like anything in the middle ground.
4. I have to hear a new band/artist every single day and sometimes I can hear 4 or 5 easily.
5. I saved my youngest son's life when he was 3 months old. He had bronchialitas (it's the infant form) and stopped breathing for 30 seconds. I gave him the kiss of life.
6. Each and every day I become more of an elitist twat and believe that my musical knowledge should be wrote down and preserved for future geneartions.
7. I have low self esteem but MB has improved this dramatically.
8. Although I try to be an aimable guy, I am not much of a people person and think that 80% of the human race are idiots.
9. I drink too much but pathetically try to justify it with my polar opposite approach to diet and intake (I don't eat Junk food and apart from alcohol only drink fruit juice and water)
10. I am an elitist twat in everyday life. I can get away with it on here!
11. My favourite colour is blue.
12. Confidence and intelligence in a woman is more attractive than mere good looks.
13. I was good friends at senior school with Richie Woodhall who is a Former WBC Super Middleweight World Champion. Hid dad and my dad went to school together and were best friends.
14. I have a very good memory and I can remember every single film I have seen yet I don't care to remember peoples names until I have got to know them a lot more.
15. I am saddened by the fact that my 15 year old son thinks my music tastes are generally crap.
16. I cannot watch a film on a PC screen. I have to watch a film in it's correct ratio and on a screen at least 21".
17. I can cook the best pasta dish you have ever tasted in 4 minutes.
18. Take an instant dislike to people with no manners or who are impolitefor no reason.
19. I cry at the endings in some films and have no problems admitting that.
20. Must be one of the few males on the planet who has no interest in cars whatsoever and I don't drive.
21. I am definitely an arse man compared to a breast man (a little sexist-apologies)
22. I have an instant affinity with animals and children and they seem to like me too.
23. Have a recurring dream that I am in a record/ media shop and can never find what I am looking for.
24. I can make a 400g bar of chocolate last for over six months
25. i can make a 400ml glass of beer last for over six seconds.

I am constantly being told i will 'regret it' if i don't learn to drive, but considering we will all be driving steam engines and cowering from radioactive dust storms or something 30 years I don't really see the big fuss. Plus it'll filter out all the bitches who just want me to drive them places and buy them shit because i can't do either hahahaha

Also your claims to chocolate immunity scare me, I get through on average one of the 120g bars a day
