Something that you miss thread

It could be friends, a CD, item of clothing etc.

I miss having any hair

NSW 04-18-2009 01:49 PM

I miss wearing smaller clothes. Incidentally, I also miss chocolate silk pie. I think I'll make one tonight...who needs smaller clothes anyway...

jackhammer 04-18-2009 01:53 PM

What's a chocolate silk pie?

NSW 04-18-2009 01:55 PM

Wha???

http://lawalker.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/09299.jpg

It's only the best pie in the world!

Sort of like a chocolate mousse type of thing? One bite of that and I would feel sick. I don't have a sweet tooth and I have been known to have a bar of chocolate in the fridge for six months with 2 squares removed.

Insanity...pure and simple.

I'll eat whatever you don't. lol

EDGE 04-18-2009 02:10 PM

Daria, 90's music, Bill Clinton, Dunkaroos (do they still make these?)

LoathsomePete 04-18-2009 02:14 PM

I miss my friends in Vancouver more than anything else right now. I also miss living in Wales, it was a cool country despite it's atrocious sounding language and implied sheep sodomy.

I have looked everywhere for Dunkaroos. I found them at a convenient store I stopped at in Delaware, but i think they might have just been real old.
I have a solution I have been doing for years. Teddy Grahams and funfetti duncan hines frosting. Its like a giant supply of dunks. Or you could go with a different flavor and mix it up if you'd like.

That sounds delicious! My eyes lit up while reading this. I am most certainly buying some next time I go grocery shopping (which will most likely be tonight, because I am now craving some Teddy Grahams and frosting) http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/happy/happy0121.gif

To sit and eat something besides heathy, home-grown carboard from the far right corner of the local grocery shack.

Ewww I hate birthday cakes, I had them as a kid and couldn't stand them. We have an incredible place for cakes now called the Desert Room and cakes there cost $150.00 + but are incredible.

i feel you there, when i started my freshmen year in high school all my friends from middle school went to one high school, and cause of the retarded zoning I was in, I had to go to a high school that was about 10 miles away, rather than the other one, which was 3.

lucifer_sam 04-18-2009 07:55 PM

ah, i dunno. friendships are so tenuous when you're young. it takes a while for your personality to emerge, and by the end of it you can be wondering "what was i thinking being friends with him?"

FaSho 04-18-2009 07:56 PM

It being cool to watch Power Rangers.

That's super duper weird. I could be going to school with my friends, it's about a two minute drive away from me, but I just didn't wanna go to that school. So I'm not seeing a lot of my friends by my own choice, which I'm fine with. I just don't see them as often as I used to.

Bulldog 04-19-2009 12:17 PM

I suppose I miss all my mates in Scotland. Seeing as it's far too much money/fuss to get up there and crash for a weekend, let alone the fact that exam season starts soon, I probably won't be able to make it up there again 'til the autumn, which sucks.

Same exact thing happened to me. I lived right on the border, and the school all my buddies went to, also the town I grew up playing football for, was on the border of the other town. It was maybe a mile away, where as my school was about 15 miles away, and twice as ****ty.
