Here is one i came across one day at work while flipping through a dictionary. Look it up so you don't thing im making this up.
broomrape
n. Any of various parasitic herbs of the genus Orobanche, having purplish or yellowish flowers and small scalelike leaves that lack chlorophyll. Broomrape grows on the roots of various plants.
