I download albums that I don't know for sure I'll enjoy; I love to collect hard copies though. If I'm looking for something in particular or if I find something that's hard to come by I'll want to get it as a hard copy but for albums I don't think I'll listen to more than a couple times I download.

Something tells me if you took better care of them this wouldn't happen. And who leaves CDs out in the open in a hot car/hot sun and expects them to be OK?

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

mainly because in case the ipod dies out and to read history in small booklets, but also because my favorite songs are only on cds, no ipod involved. most are cds, but few downloaded.

just get a little round CD holder thing and stick them in a compartment or under a seat in your car instead. Or at least stack the CDs somewhere under a seat or in a compartment by themselves so that the sun won't get on them.

I would often keep CDs in my car in their original cases, and would just file them in the door pocket and glove box. Only two places they belonged, other than in someone's hands.

I download most of my songs off of iTunes, but I try to buy CDs when I can. But mostly I'm too lazy...

I'd rather buy CDs (and I do) but I can't afford to buy all my music on physical copies

If they sold all albums for say 4 or 5 dollars aussie I'd totally buy them all on physical cd's. ****ing greedy system
