Exactly. The car I bought because it was cheap and easily available when I was in a desperate car need situation says so much about my lifestyle. Just like the computer I own because I need it for work says so much about my lifestyle.

You just don't care about what you use as long as it works.

There's no real wrong or right answer. They both have strengths and weaknesses. I know I'm getting a Mac. I know my friends have PCs. It's not really a big deal. I'd say just make a sheet with the pros and cons (from your perspective, as in what works for you), and weigh them. Don't let anyone else make the decision for you.

I was being facetious, just trying to point out that it's kind of silly to make all these assumptions and judgements about people based on the computer they use (or the car they drive or anything else along those lines).

I think that did help, and I think it might have convinced me to stay with what I have now (A PC). None of the pros about Macs really make me want to change to a Mac except for how small and portable they are, even at 18 inches, they're so much more compact.
I think I'm jut going to take a lot of time and look around at some stores.
