Well I kinda like the GarageBand app I have on my phone. It may not be as good as the real deal on the Mac, but I'm still pretty content with it.
I kinda of figured it was like a big iPhone, but I love my iPhone, so that's not a bad thing. It's pretty much like paying for a bigger screen. As for the memory issue, 64 gb would definitely be more than enough for me. The desktop pc ive had for years won't even hold over 2000 songs. And I don't really download music anymore. I was thinking about just getting the 16gb iPad. I won't be putting all that much music on it, the only thing thatll be taking up space are apps and recorded music. As for the audio input thing, I planned on buying the apogee jam, which is a little audio interface that plugs into the iPhone or iPad. It's compatible with GarageBand. I really like how the GarageBand app has a little built in amp with many, probably over 20 different types of amps and pedals. I'm sure it isn't as good as the real deal, but I'm pretty impressed with what you can do on a 5 dollar app. It's better than more expensive software I've bought for my pc. In the end, all I'm going to be doing is some basic music recording, web surfing, music listening and video watching. That's about it. I doubt I'd even be using all the cool little specs on the MacBook. So I don't have much of a problem with buying a big iPhone. But then again, I'd definitely love to have a MacBook. I just don't know if ill ever have that kind of money to spend on a laptop. |
pc. i like apple products but when it comes downloading stuff like software and whatnot, it's more complicated.
pc is just easy to handle. |

Pshhh, PC's and Mac's, what a bunch of trifle. It's all about the Unisys. :D
http://i1158.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1338008809 OT though, once my family upgraded to a Micron PC in '96, we never looked back. I'm sure Mac has its advantages, but probably not enough to bother learning all its nuances at this point. |

On another note, who else remembers AO-Hell? With it's 10 hour a month policies and other baggage  I'm amazed their service even still exists. |
AOL was never relevant for me; they were too far away, so we would've been charged long-distance rates by the phone company everytime we used them. After the first family on our lake got a phone bill approaching $1,000, word quickly spread to avoid them. This was one of the better aspects of living in that area: the cheapest internet connection was cable or DSL.

I have a pretty cheap PC, but laptops for me are basically a porn/reddit/facebook/forums machine so I don't really care. If I was to do more important things, I'd probably get a Mac. Some old room mates had Macs and they were sweet
