Okay, move on. No-one's answered. The one-hour rule is in effect again. Someone --- anyone --- post a question within an hour or I will.

Meshes of the Afternoon, I believe.

Who was the Native American that traveled with Lewis and Clark on their fabled expedition?

From what I remember it says that information flows in one direction only, DNA => RNA => proteins. And I think the RNA is actually mRNA. I know that Francis Crick came up with the term anyhow.

Holy crap! Is this University Challenge?? General knowledge, people: general. That means that within reason most people should have a decent idea of the answer. "The dogma in biology?" What has a dog's mother got to do with it?

Seriously, let's give us numbskulls a chance here, poindexters!

lol! Crick used the term dogma in the wrong sense, I guess he didn't know what it meant. I can't be 100% sure that my answer's right though so I'll hold off on my question until it's confirmed.

Reverse transcriptase actually causes DNA to be generated from an RNA strand, and is the method by which the HIV virus reproduces itself.

I think that's only in exceptional cases though... DNA isn't normally generated from RNA, it's the other way around.
