If moderators see someone who they feel is breaking the rules, I simply want moderators to be courteous when pointing it out to that person in private, and also when discussing it openly on the Boards, if dealing with the issue publicly is necessary.
I've seen many instances of moderators being patient, helpful, and considerate. When they write discourteously to or about other members, then that's the behavior I want changed. I'm not against "interference." I want polite interference.

Well, from what I recall, I was nothing but polite to Slappy during his time here. And yet I'm still the bad guy to him. And I was nothing but polite to
you for ages until one day you decided to stick the knife in. I guess when you're a mod there's really nothing you can do that's going to make certain people happy. Disappointing but true.
