Yeah people need to get over those stereotypes.

Dogs and cats all have different personalities. Some fit the stereotypes while others don't.

My neighbour's cat gave birth last week and I got to meet one of the little kitties yesterday. I am soooo in love and I even took pics I really wish I wasn't allergic but perhaps that can be managed... Hmmmm.....

I love all animals, but I'm definitely a cat person. I've noticed minor behavioral differences between "dog people" and "cat people" but as with any generalization, they're not ultimately definitive of one group or the other.

HOWEVER

"Dog people" have always struck me as energetic, extroverted, determined, successful, optimistic, and sometimes even loud. But I've also known some who are sensitive, quiet, loving, selfless, dependent, introverted, etc.

"Cat people" such as myself tend to be shy, skeptical, realistic, withdrawn, private, introverted. But a close friend of ours (Ki and myself) is one of the loudest (yet kindest), most outspoken, hard-driving, and almost obnoxious people I've ever met - and his cat is his best friend. So I don't know.

Animals are just awesome. And cute. And I love them so, so much.

Well the stereotypes are there for a reason, but in general I haven't noticed different behavior between cat people and dog people.

I do know a really bat**** crazy cat lady, though.

Cat peoples houses tend to smell like pee. Only significant difference.

Does she have a ton of cats that she isn't capable of taking care of? Those people aren't decidedly awful but they really boil my blood.

Also I see you're from Minnesota. I lived in the northwest for most of my life.

Shows what you know. My mother was never married. Which is why I'm such a bastard.

Hey, I thought it was funny.
