It's just how I like it, personally. I can skip the sugar on some coffee roasts though but not always.

I guess it's like how I don't understand why some people slather their food in ketchup.

Okay this. Kiwi's really abuse this and it says a lot about our cooking! It's fine to put tomato sauce on bbq's but not on everything. My bf told me off because I wanted to put sauce on a Russian dish he'd made for me. Next I get a lecture about how food shouldn't need sauces. Bless him.

I was getting ready to agree with him until that second lecture. He's damn wrong about that.

He thinks that he is so good at cooking Russian food that it doesn't need sauce with what spices, herbs and seasoning he adds to it.

I'd put sugar or sweetener in it because coffee isn't rich or delicious to me. It's bitter. It's a decent taste if I sweeten it.

Tea on the other hand. If you put sugar in tea then GTFO.

If you have good quality coffee beans, the taste isn't as bitter. I've had amazing coffees from beans that were so rich in flavour that I didn't feel the need for sugar I only put sugar in sub-par coffees or instant coffee. I don't know what the hell this cream fascination is...

My coffee of choice is a long or short macchiato, I used to order lattes or cappuccinos but I've become a little intolerant to dairy
