I totally agree. I dated a guy on and off who wouldn't take me out during the day because he always wanted to play golf which was as boring as his personality. He was the stinky dick gut lol!

I hear the argument that golf (& snooker & darts) isn't/aren't sports, they're games. I can understand why people think this when you compare them to more athletic sports like tennis, football and so on.

But they require excellent hand to eye coordination in a competition environment, a physical contest, so they're sports. Just because they're not the 100m sprint, don't discredit them.

Admittedly darts is pushing it a bit when you see the state of some of the 'athletes'.

But if you kicked it all the time it wouldn't be called "football" it would be called "kickball."

Slippery slope man, just come out and admit that e-sports is a sport as well.

I love Curling though but I only watch it once every four years during the Olympics lol.

lol clue is in the name mate.

You physically throw a dart, physically hit balls into pockets and physically hit a golf ball over a distance in darts, snooker & golf.

Your actions while playing computer games, don't have real life reactions in the same way snooker etc do, the outcome is on screen, thus not real life. Not a sport.

The physical aspect, is almost non existent.

Just one more reason to hate golf, the sport that makes men think their girlfriend/wife is just an optional extra, a second choice. I mean, who in their right mind would want to play golf rather than play with Jess?

It is like the saying goes. For every beautiful woman there is a man somewhere that is sick of her ****.

Darts and snooker has a similar amount of physical performance has being in competitive gaming so don't even try it. That is the last I will comment on e-sports in this thread though. We can take this discussion over to the E-sports thread and beat a dead horse if you'd like. You also decided to throw away the hand eye coordination in a competitive setting part of your argument.
