Men can be funny just as women can be funny. In fact, I think the question should be "Can people be funny?" rather than making a distinction between genders. Yes, people can be funny regardless of what their gender is. Gender should not determine how good or bad your jokes are or how they are received.

I'm a guy and I think that quality of humor depends on the person. I'm not sure why there should be a distinction.
