I'll take a leap of faith. Rather than opting for an old favourite like The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds, The Beatles' Revolver or Simon and Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, I'll go with Tame Impala's Innerspeaker, which I have not yet heard. But if it's anywhere near as good as Lonerism it'll do. Plus, I won't tire of it as quickly as one of the others, which I've already heard hundred of times.

So in other words you'd take Revolver .

Aye. And now that I think of it, it also has a bunch of guest appearances that might help it feel like you aren't stuck with just one album by one artist.

hmm.. and if you don't like the album?
I mean. You're stuck on that freaking island..
Imagine that! The magical CD-player would pretentiously laugh at you :/
He's really a damn bastard.

But actually I find your idea of taking an album you do not yet know very good. Because if you choose an album you already know, you will most likely choose one of your favourite albums, which you will most likely have heard a million times before..

Probably the only album I'm still not tired of after intense listening, even after 5 years. I think it can handle a lifetime more.
