Roger Goodell cannot suspend Cris Carter. At least we think that’s the case. The former wideout now works for ESPN. The faculty at Bristol Clown Community moncler womens jackets College wouldn’t sell him out, would they? If anything, they should have already given Carter, one of ESPN’s legion of moncler jacke NFL analysts, a hefty raise for providing an honest moment in a business full of liars. On ESPN Radio last week Carter said as a player he paid “protection money” to his offensive lineman to keep him moncler outlet shop safe from cheap shots from defensive players, including Bill Romanowski. “I’m guilty of (bounties),” Carter said on the Hill and Schlereth Show. “I mean (this is the) first time I’ve ever admitted it, but I put a bounty on guys before. I put bounties on guys. If a guy tries to take me out, a guy takes a cheap shot on me? I put a bounty on him right now.” It’s of no concern to us whether Carter paying a teammate to hurt somebody was right or wrong. Or whether it can be compared to the Saints thing. Or whether Carter broke the NFL’s brand of Omerta. The only thing we care about is Carter providing personal information and perspective. And going much deeper into this bounty story than all his analyst peers, or at least the ones we’ve heard. Most of them drone on over whether the suspensions of Saints personnel was the right thing for Goodell to do. Then they talk, in the most general terms, about what went on when they played. Until Carter flapped his jaw last week, none of them offered specifics. Did any of these high profile former QBs or receivers pay for protection? Did any defensive players, now paid for their opinions, collect any bounty booty? No specifics. Just glossing over their own experiences. Carter peeled off a layer of his own skin. Does anyone believe he was the only player who paid for protection? In the weeks and months leading up to the NFL season, more of these analysts should come out and tell their stories. Although, it’s never been a prerequisite of any NFL TV job tell the truth. Don’t leave Cris Carter hanging out there alone. THE ANDY LOVEFEST It will be a Gush Fest Sunday on Al Yankzeera with Andy Pettitte scheduled to return to a major league mound for the first time since Game 3 of the 2010 ALCS. Will any reality be injected (couldn’t resist) into this happy fizzies party? Will any of YES’ Ministers of Misinformation dare bring up Pettitte’s mealy-mouth testimony at Roger Clemens’ perjury trial? Somewhere along the line St. Andy was bending the truth about that HGH conversation he had with Clemens, right? Maybe YES voices will explore the art of fibbing when they come up for air after babbling about the guts and determination it took Pettitte to come moncler outlet new york back. And of course his pride in the pinstripes. CONE OF NON-SILENCE At least one YES voice enjoys dealing with reality ― David Cone. He turned in a masterful performance during the Kansas City series working with Ken (Vanilla Nice) Singleton. Cone must ignore all other baseball analysts because his insights are unique. And unlike other YES yakkers he doesn’t repeat the same stories over and over and over again. Or laugh at his own lame jokes. WE’LL MISS CHARLEY Sorry to see Charley Casserly get booted from CBS’ “The NFL Today.” In a room full of clowns, led by James (Head Clown) Brown, Casserly brought a serious presence. His segment provided legit information and temporary relief moncler on line from the hooting and howling that preceded him. Jason La Canfora, a reporter for the NFL Invisible Network, will replace Casserly. PRODUCTION WOES The Knicks’ performance against the Heat was bad. MSG’s pre- and post-game shows were worse. When Kelly Tripucka and Alan Hahn weren’t battling for airtime ― and staring at each other with bad intentions ― Al (Wiggie) Trautwig was busy concocting excuses for the Knicks. The guy we felt for was Bernard King. He was mostly forced to squeeze his serious analysis in between all the yammering. Also, it appears the show did not have a whole lot of pre-production. How else could King be allowed to go on the air prior to Game 5 and say the “big matchup” he was most interested in was “the matchup between Melo and (Shane) Battier.” Hey, the free world knew LeBron James would be covering Anthony. LEADING THEM ON Bad timing for Pierre McGuire in late stages of Caps-Rangers Game 5. With 1:45 left in the third, and the Rangers down, 2-1, NBCSN’s hockey mouth figured it was the right time to go gaga over the positive changes made by the Caps defense. “They know how to defend a lead,” McGuire said. 98.4 seconds later the “lead” was erased on a Brad Richards goal. Who will shed the first teardrops when Pettitte takes the mound Sunday? John (Pa Pinstripe) Sterling or Suzyn (Ma Pinstripe) Waldman? … Ryan Ruocco better hurry up and grow a backbone. He’s letting Stephen A. Smith push him around. Fire back, man, or risk being another midday man on the wrong end ESPN-98.7’s revolving door. Inquiring WFAN minds want to know how many 98.7 voices actually work from the studio? Unlike their colleague Mike (Sports Pope) Francesa, who has gone lightweight on the Knicks, Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts tore them up during Miami series, even holding James (Guitar Jimmy) Dolan accountable for the mess. Guess the midday mouths won’t be getting the same Garden seat treatment the pontiff currently enjoys. * * * DUDE OF THE WEEK FLOYD (MONEY) MAYWEATHER: For apologizing to HBO’s Larry Merchant. What’s next, Mayweather agreeing to fight Manny Pacquiao? Seriously though, Mayweather had demanded HBO fire the Merchant of Menace after a 2011 interview following his fight with Victor Ortiz. Mayweather didn’t like the line of questioning. But the day before the weigh-in for his fight last Saturday with Miguel Cotto, Mayweather took Merchant aside to say he was sorry. Almost immediately, his motives were questioned. No matter. Mayweather did the right thing. Leave it at that. DWEEB OF THE WEEK JOSH BECKETT: After missing a start because of tightness in a muscle behind his pitching shoulder, Beckett still played golf on his day off. He lands here for being dense, not understanding why fans are upset with him. In Beckett’s world, no one has the moncler canada right to question what he does on an off day. “We get 18 off days a year. I think we deserve a little bit of time to ourselves,” Beckett said. He must have forgotten about the four months he has off in the off-season. Anyway, He has no regrets about playing golf. “None,” he said. “I spend my off days the way I want to spend them.” Call him Mr. Oblivious. * * * DOUBLE TALK What Carmelo Anthony said: “I get tired of hearing, ‘Can (his pairing with Amar’e Stoudemire) work? Will it work?’” What Carmelo Anthony meant to say: “I know it won’t work, but I’m running out of excuses.” 相关的主题文ç«*ï¼ š moncler coats on sale 0BfF20 ILQuN J9UU moncler sk moncler maya jacket 5LgC70 J5ImO MhUY moncler west moncler jacke 4TsK23 HcWpZ EPQQ moncler coat

Frownland Tackles the Best Way to Break an Egg

There has been a long debate about how to break an egg, whether you should break it from the top or from the bottom. Personally, I'm more of a bottom kind of guy—Vanilla you surely know this—but I'm going to decide which is the best side objectively. I will try not to influence my decision with my opinion but instead will go into the pros, cons, and other basic factors that play into which side is better to break when you're cracking an egg or opening a hard-boiled.

From the top:
Pros - Gets the egg cracked
You don't waste time trying to find it
The top is a powerful social metaphor
My sister likes it when I break her eggs from the top

Pros rating - 4/5

Cons: It's not the bottom
Sometimes eggshells get into your eggs
Easy to get lost
Awkward shaped eggshells to throw out

Cons rating - 2/5

Legacy: People have been breaking eggs from the top since we found out that could eat them
Wars fought over the debate
Eggs are delicious

Legacy rating - 5/5

Personal: My daddy used to break our eggs from the top
I always just broke the bottom
I don't even like eggs so I don't know if I'm allowed to have an opinion on this

Personal rating - 3/5

Overall rating - 7/10

From the bottom:

Pros - Gets the egg cracked
You can't get lost trying to find it
The bottom is a powerful social metaphor
I heard that Phil Collins breaks his eggs from the bottom

Pros rating - 4/10

Cons: It's not the top
Sometimes eggshells get into your eggs
Hard to find where to break shell
Awkward shaped eggshells to throw out
Captain Beefheart broke his eggshells from the bottom

Cons rating - 2/5

Legacy: People have been breaking eggs from the bottom since we found out that could eat them
Wars fought over the debate
Eggs are delicious

Legacy rating - 3/5

Personal: My friend used to break our eggs from the top
I always just broke the bottom
I don't even like eggs so I don't know if I'm allowed to have an opinion on this
Personal rating - 2/5

5.5/10

The last word has been spoken people, I wish that bottom could have pulled through, but it looks like breaking an egg from the top is just the definitive way to get an egg cracked.
