Nah it's not always being updated. Goofle and Exo's modument was the first time in my history here that we added new mods, and that was after about 4-5 years on the forum.. Do you think we need more?
Maybe one/two to keep up with avi requests and journals. It's not that uncommon to be on here and there to be no mods on so I don't see why not.

And you could probably do with letting some of the inactive mods go.

All of this is just my opinion though.

Have you ever notice that half the members who that get mod'd become inactive shortly after, it's like being mod'd is the death knell for a member's activity.

I wouldn't mind being mod just for fighting spam and approving journals. Maybe just for the latter. My friends wouldn't mind, and my nonfriends would see it as one step closer for me vanishing from this site. I tell you it's win win for everybody.
