Same here. I clearly remember worshipping Ronin Warriors, and then meeting up with my best friend in the entire world during the summer, after him having spent most of it with his mother in another part of the country, and basically being like, "Hey, have you heard of..." "OMG yes that's the best show ever!!!" "Let's watch it all the ****ing time!!!" "Yes, let's!!!"

Let us rep Ronin Warriors/Yoroiden Samurai Troopers next round. Oh my god that was one of the first anime themes I ever fell in love with...





Now I must watch the entire Japanese series, since main characters with California surfer, New York, and British accents are too absurd to take seriously, but why would I want to watch anything less. God damn it. Bad dubs have ruined my life.

But the reformation of Anubis pretty much paved the way for Angel and Faith from Buffy.

Ive only seen the dubbed version of Ronin warriors and to this day that american theme song gives me a chubb (The Silver Hawks theme song also has that effect) but unlike you Batty i love bad dubs. i like good dubs too, for exmpl i prefer watching Cowboy Bebob, Yu-yu and Inuyasha dubbed. Is the dubbed version of Hellsing Ultimate any good?

A.) The subbed version of Ronin Warriors is worth watching just because it also shows more PG-13 rated stuff that was cut out of the dub, like blood.

B.) Don't bother with the subbed version of Hellsing Ultimate. As goofy as the American actor for Alucard is, he actually works at times, as opposed to the Japanese actor, who is just another deep-voiced Japanese dude who you can hear in any one of five million animes. And there are no actors with British or German accents in the Japanese version, so why in the **** would you want to watch it? Just go with the dub. It's one of the rare occurrences when a dub is legitimately better than a sub.

I don't see Bleach or Naruto anywhere. Big 3 of anime my ass. I think a more suitable big 3 would be...
1. Dragon Ball Z - for its influence, popularity, and quality.
2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - because it's the most notable of a common theme of anime remakes, and because it spent a long time on Imdb and Anilist as the highest rated anime on both sites, and likely more.
3. One Piece. It's already one of the big 3, and it's one of the longest lasting and highest rated mangas.
