Nic Cage movies aren't that great. Everything I've seen him in is only a seven at the most. Lord Of War was a brilliant movie but at times it's hard to watch. But he's a decent actor in great films. Not sure how he does that.

What? Nicholas Cage is a great actor. I mean, yeah he overacts all the time, but that alone turn otherwise boring movies that wouldn't be worth the watch into absolutely awesome pieces of work. Ever seen Ghost Rider 2? The Wicker Man remake? Bad Lieutenant remake? All bad movies that are made insanely entertaining by Cage's performance.

Bad Lieutenant isn't a bad film though, by any stretch. It's better than the Harvey Keitel one.

Never saw any of those. Saw him in Gone In Sixty Seconds, which was a terrible movie. Bangkok dangerous was a good movie that his performance ruined. Not a Nic Cage fan.

Gone in Sixty Seconds was a gloriously good bad movie. Okay, maybe not glorious, but an entertaining bad movie anyway.

Leaving Las Vegas
Adaptation
Raising Arizona
Bringing Out the Dead
Wild at Heart

All do not suck and should make you reconsider your stance on Cage.

Bolded for emphasis. Those are great movies made greater by Cage, whereas his other roles are ****ty movies made worth watching. You're wrong if you disagree.

Raising Arizona was an amazing film if my memory serves me correctly.

Face Off is probably my least favorite Cage film. That one was ****ing awful.

Something tells me you missed the point of the movie.
