Honestly I knew people exactly like them (goth lady and intense muscle shirt guy) in high school. They were eyeballs-deep in Everquest and vampire RPG games and took themselves extremely seriously. I remember one guy used to pass notes to me in class insisting that he was a vampire, and that it was a "terrible burden," and that he merely participates in vampire roleplaying groups to "feel more normal".
I'm assuming all of y'all have seen The Guild or whatever it's called? I wonder how badly it's aged over the years.

Me too (also roughly 5-6 years ago); I watched it at least three times. I may need to rewatch it as I'm curious to see if it'll be painfully dated now. (I can't even remember any specific plotlines. I just remember the leader dad guy, stalker guy, and the blonde lady who ignored her kids-- she was my favorite.)
