The first one would require moving to a sleazy American city and the second one would require some LSD.

Either Tool's Lateralus/Salival or King Crimsons ITCOTCK, or possibly even something by Colour Haze.

I'd love to call on an album like Bullhead, but without any other albums to compliment or contrast it, I know I'd probably get pretty bored pretty quick, an album with a bit of variety sounds good to me.
