Before Iggy Pop gained fame as a solo artist, and a before that as a member of The Stooges, he was in a band called 'The Iguanas' where he played drums.
 After The Iguanas, he went on to play drums for another band called 'The Prime Movers Blues Band' where his band mates gave him the nickname of "Iggy" due to him previously playing in The Iguanas.

The lead singer, the piano player, and the drummer are still out there together to this day.

Before coming to the public's attentionaqs a songwriter and solo artist in the 70s, Warren Zevon released an album in 1969 titled Wanted Dead Or ALive. The first song I'm posting, "A Bullet For Ramona" showed an early (if not that good) example of the occasional shock lyrics he would become know n for. The second song, "She Quit Me", isn't good at all.The album is recommended for Zevon fans and the morbidly curious only.
