I've written a couple of songs that I've gotten positive reception for. I want to try getting copy-right for them and I've been looking into some options. I found songbay which allows you to buy, sell, and copyright your music for free.
I'm wondering if any musician has worked with it before and what the experience was like. Are they legit? Cuz some of the other options are paid option and songbay looks like it's right up my alley in terms of finances and features, but I want to make sure before I get into it. |

I haven’t personally used Songbay, but I’ve seen a few musicians mention it here and there. It does seem like a legit platform for showcasing and licensing your music, but when it comes to copyright, just keep in mind: using Songbay doesn’t equal official copyright registration like you’d get through the U.S. Copyright Office (or the equivalent in your country).
