I'm starting this thead because a lot of people respect Dylan's songwriting but don't like his voice. Here's a beautifully understated cover of Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You by Ann Peebles:

Knockin' On Heaven's Door - cover by Warren Zevon
Don't Think Twice It's Alright - cover by Clarence Gatemouth Brown and Maria Muldaur Dylan's "Don't Think Twice It's Alright" was an adaptation of his friend Paul Clayton's song "Who's Gonna Buy You Ribbons (When I'm Gone)". That was an adaptation of an old traditional song "Who's Gonna Buy Your Chickens". Paul's song was beautiful. I think I posted the videos properly. Still a noob.
