My niece texted me the bad news earlier today. Yes, it was appropriate that you be the one to announce it, Holly.

I was going to see her perform several years ago in Charleston WV on the way to a vacation destination but had to change the vacation dates so I never got to see her live. While I can't say I enjoyed every song by her I heard, there were quite a few tunes that were really good. And I always admired her for her charitable efforts. And they will continue. Her family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be directed to the Imagination Library, which has provided books to millions of children, at imaginationlbrary.com.

Yeah, I like her edgier stuff like that one. That's why I chose "Travelin' Man", about a girl who plans to run off with a traveling salesman who ends up running off with her mother instead. It was released as a single. I wouldn't be suprised if some of the country stations banned it: "That travelin' man was a two timer lover/took my love then took my mother."
