And the girls were extremely talkative but also extremly cute.

Real Emo: Emotionally charged hardcore punk. Bands like Rites of Spring, Jawbreaker, Fugazi (emo by association)
Emo Today: Emotionally charged pop punk. Bands like My Chemical Romance, Hawthorne Heights, Fall Out Boy. This is not real emo, this was emo after being watered down, and stripped of anything that would've actually made it emo in order to sell it to the MTV watching masses. There's also Post-Emo, which is the transitional period between emo and emo today (most emo today is influenced by these bands). That would be bands like Sunny Day Real Estate, Jets to Brazil, The Promise Ring, etc. It's emo mixed with Post-Hardcore. Indie: Any band or artist on an independent label. There is no indie genre, it's a word used to describe other genres. For example, Indie Pop, [General] Indie Rock, Indie Rap (usually called Underground Rap), etc. |
God im sick of "real this" and "real that" it gets fucking boring. I dont even really trust your opinion consider youve reffered to fall out boy and MCR as pop punk.

I hope you're ready for another pwning, because there's no way you can argue what I said about emo, other than "You called ____ pop-punk, so you MUST be wrong!" And based on the fact that Nu-Metal, as a genre, is just plain bad, I'm going to warrant a guess that Murderdolls aren't very good. |
Wow your an jerk seriously you diss a genre and diss a band and you dont even check them out!
I would just like to point out that you list Fall Out Boy...Not many people call fall out boy emo... |
