They lost alot of their 'true' fans back when they ditched the underground punk scene to sign to a major label.Loads of fans were pist when they ditched lookout its the punk scene its typical.

yes misfits im well aware of that. what still confuses me is the fact people find them worth arguing over. anyway dont reply to this because it'll merely contribute to yet another debate.

Because its been debated/argued millions of times and has gone on for lots of pages if it was all combined twould be bigger than the member picture gallery..and its the same damn arguement over and over.

OK well i'm a great fan of Green Day, loved them for many year. They are great live and I think they will continue to make good music for a few more years yet.

Oasis, I've never been of fan of the members, however I do think they are a very talented band and I do like a lot of their stuff. However I still think Green Day are more my kinda thing. It's silly to compare these bands really tho, I mean Green Day originates from Punk whereas Oasis is from an Indie background.
