if you mean the 'recently listened' readout, that has happened to me a couple of times - restart your computer, and if that doesn't help the Last.fm troubleshooting service is pretty comprehensive...

And yeah.... the Japanese artists are being listened to absolutely loads

I only have 4 non-Asian artists on my playlist:

Beyonce
Shakira
Danny John-Jules
Cherie

and only 2 of those come from English speaking countries

Yeah, same here. It was doing this with me yesterday as well. I just rebooted the computer - no guarantee, but it worked alright for me after that.

I just rebooted as my internet was sucky- to no avail. This site is loading slow too now.
