Patchy. I was hoping it would be better. Not awful but not great either.

Ah... I sort of feel the same way. There's quite a few tracks that I like, but some are really dull. It just feels like they're not reaching their full potential. If they dropped a lot of the wacky aspects (like on the first track) and went for a slightly more conventional Fair To Midland-esque sound I think I'd like it a lot more. I absolutely love the track that I submitted for the comp, that's them doing it right.

I haven't listened to them, but I know Shiseido Red (where has she been?) digs them.

it's actually just one song, a cover of "Lua", which is very good imo...

Last sieben Tage:

The Fall - 248
R. Stevie Moore - 245
Belbury Poly - 31
Marilyn Roxie - 34
Augustus Pablo - 16
Ludus - 14

M.Roxie is a rather jolly unsigned composer who does Korg video game-style music and stuff inspired by the reel-to-reel tape experiments of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in the 60's. All her stuff is free on last.fm, so support that sh*t!
