Does it actually help with recommendations? In my case, recs only crop up for artists I'm listening to recently. If a library is randomized like that, I don't think it matters if you've got a million plays or ten thousand, because the percentages per artists are going to be approximately the same, right?

Ah. Your original post was a bit misleading then. It sounded like you planned to scrobble when you weren't listening, as opposed to shuffling your library when you are home. Or maybe it's me that read it wrong. I do a lot of shuffling when I'm home, because I don't know how long I'll be sitting there, or don't know what I feel like hearing. I guess that's what I mostly do at home, and play albums at work or when I'm out and about on the town.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

^^Hey, thank you James, if you need some recommendations, just ask.

Yeah Gibby Haynes album is good. I stumbled on a song from it on youtube totally by accident. Well, I was watching some old Butthole Surfers clips. So I had to check it out.

Yeah it was a good week, some new, interesting things like Z'EV and lots of revisiting.

Sometimes I'll make a playlist of all of the stuff I've listened to on CD in the car and let it scrobble through the night to accommodate for the lost scrobbles.

You gotta problem wit dat???
