I don't really see why it's better to listen to their older albums, rather than post Black Sails. Their earlier stuff is quite frankly ridiculous, uninspiring, and badly written. And I love punk rock.

Yep, thats them. Have a video. They seem like just your run-of-the-mill hardcore band but their latest album is a really ecclectic mix, one of my faves of the year.

What would you rec me based off of what I listen to?

Judging by your taste for Talking Heads albums (all 3 of them excellent albums btw), if you don't already have it, find Brian Eno's 'Before and After Science'. I think you could do with getting your hands on a few Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds albums too - 'the Firstborn Is Dead', 'Tender Prey' and 'Let Love In' you might particularly enjoy
