Most of Nightwish that I listened to was with Annette as the lead singer. Better composition and more likable singing voice over Tarja. Most of old Nightwish sounds sameish to me, although there are a few gems buried amongst the muck.

Epica is just plain fantastic, Simone has a great voice. They have not slowed down, the new album is full of vigor. I like how they break the trend of how artists typically mellow out through time.

Lana Del Rey, there are jazzy elements I find really appealing. I never listen to jazz, but the way it goes with her voice and melody is so "done right."

1349, I need more hellish metal, I'm thinking of building a "Depths of Hell" playlist and I know who I'll kick start it with.

The rest are the usual suspects.

I randomly look up one artist and two hours later I'm there with six Last.fm tabs, a Grooveshark tab and a YouTube tab looking a ton of new music up.

Does anybody know how I can scrobble from my iPhone 4? I mainly use Spotify for listening.

Their's a last fm app scrobbler app. It's separate from the Last FM app. Pretty sure it works for Spotify.

I think unless you can change your settings on Spotify to scrobble last fm, you have to download a last fm music player app (basically the same as the usual one, just linked with last fm). Doesn't work with Spotify.
