^ Elliott Smith is my favorite artist of all time. I have "A Fond Farewell" tattoo'd on my left arm to pay tribute to him.

I didn't learn about his existence until after he'd died and one of my erstwhile friends told me about how his then girlfriend had been bawling over his suicide. I looked into Elliott Smith and loved his music instantly. One of the few artists whose entire catalog I physically own.

Yeah, I didn't discover him until after his death, which is unfortunate. My uncle said he saw him perform live. I'm forever jealous of him.

Kind of a slow week. Been hitting the new RTJ album hard.
