Did you just get into Buckley Adi?

adidasss 03-04-2007 12:57 PM

A month ago or so...still completely obsessed though.

He's completely erethral. So otherworldy that the higher plane he came from couldn't do without him any longer and called him back early.

Here's a great interview with him Kingdom For A Kiss - Jeff Buckley in Words: DoubleTake Interview

and also...if you haven't...get your hands on Live at Sin-e

Aye, thanks for the link, you seem to be reading my mind, when I get obsessed with an artist I find out as much as I can. I've already tried to find a more personalized biography than the one on the official site, and I really wanted to get my hands on one live DVD, but there aren't any on line so I'll have to buy the Live at Chicago. If ever there was an artists I would have given anything to see live, that would be Jeff. His vocal abilities must have made him one of those few musicians that are perhaps even better live than on the album.

Live at Sin-e is the only live record I've heard in which all the in-between-song banter seems to have been preserved. You get a taste of Jeff's personality when he's playing a show and having a good time. It's pretty priceless.
