Muse is by far worse than Vampire Weekend (who actually arent bad at all). Muse have some of the most generic pseudo prog stadium rock songs ive ever heard, yet I keep listening to them.

Vampire Weekend was a terribly boring and annoying band in a year full of bland indie. You may be able to accuse Muse of being pseudo progressive stadium rock but at least they're interesting to listen to.

Vampire Weekend is just a bunch of hipsters making jangly indie pop that we really don't need more of.

Muse are terribly boring for the most part. Matt has a great voice dont get me wrong he sounds alot like Thom Yorke which I know has been said alot, but unlike Thom he doesn’t know how to use it. It seems like every verse he sings he cant help but fight the urge to use falsetto, and the songs themselves (especially on Absolution) sound like are boring and uninspiring.

it's not a falsetto, he's got the whole Jon Anderson thing going on. i think he just oversings everything.

they would be infinitely better if they kicked Bellamy out altogether.

If you find them boring then how do you manage to listen to them that much?

Really? I think the drummer is pretty mediocre.
