the above two especially make me sad as they were played at friends funerals

Violent Femmes - Gimme the Car

Poor guy, he just wants the car so he can pick her up, get her drunk, make her cry, get her high, make her laugh, and make her shhhhhh. And then touch her all over her body, in lieu of her touching him all over his body. Come on dad.

Kayleigh: Come on, really? That song is so syrupy and disgusting. It's the ultimate example of selling out by a band that had already sold out so much (remember the "Rockin' Roller Coaster?"). Not sad at all. It's trying too hard.
