Depeche Mode? About 1/6 the discography of Frank Zappa. Jandek, Bob Dylan, and Pearl Jam (if you choose to count all the live discs) have been pretty prolific as well.

Yes Depeche Mode, they have like 80 freakin albums, tho most are around 5 songs per.

I don't think you can really count piles of EP's remixing the same songs.. in terms of actual unique output I'd say Zappa has them beat, easily.

Johnny Cash has somewhere over the 150 mark. I think Zappa is 88 or something? I can't remember the exact amount of Zappa albums, that's including compilaitions though.

I think Zappa has around 70 studio albums. Elvis recorded around the same amount during his lifetime, but after his death more than 100 live albums and what not have popped up.

Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Afi, and err, I don't know, I usually don't own more than one or two cds per artist.
