I envy your collection of these two bands:)

bungalow 01-29-2006 09:14 PM

Funny thing is, I rarely listen to those albums anymore.
The only Melvins one I dig is Hostile Ambient Takeover, Stoner Witch is alright
And 5 Dollar Bob's Mock Cooter Stew is the only Mudhoney I listen to anymore. The others are just collecting dust

Merkaba 01-29-2006 09:16 PM

They're just there to make the collection? Yeah most of my cd's fall into that category.
I barely listen to any of the early peppers stuff, it's not that it's not good, I just prefer their later stuff to the funk they first produced.

Scarlett O'Hara 01-29-2006 09:18 PM

Eagles. Mmmm...

Most of the other bands I like have like 19586472853 albums.

MURDER JUNKIE 01-29-2006 10:41 PM

Sad Story, I had all the Ramones on vinyl autographed. Had a party at my house and someone stole them, I cried for two weeks

TheBig3 01-29-2006 10:46 PM

You just left them out?

riseagainstrocks 01-29-2006 10:50 PM

It's safe to say that Murder got PWNED.

But that really is tough luck.

Muzak Geek 01-30-2006 03:29 PM

I've got a bit of a bad habit - When I hear something (or someone) I like, I tend to buy (or attempt to buy) everything they've ever done… which sometimes is a very bad idea. Anyway, here's a few that I can think of right off the top of my head:

Nirvana
Jeff Buckley
Alice in Chains
Radiohead
Morcheeba
Led Zeppelin
White Stripes
Grandaddy
Pearl Jam
Beck
Guster
Morphine
Medeski, Martin & Wood
Soundgarden
Pink Floyd
Whiskeytown
Ryan Adams
Common
Fiona Apple
Coldplay
Stone Roses
Gomez
Money Mark
Beastie Boys
Strokes
Guns N Roses
Gorillaz
Outkast
Jurassic 5
Ben Folds 5

Know there's more, but I can't think of them right at this second…
