So that's what the other song was. Apparently they played Kill All Hippies in Liverpool according to my friend.

I just saw Kaizers Orchestra, and it was SO GOOD!

They're a nordic bunch of wacko's, entertaining wacko's... But still.

DearJenny 12-02-2006 06:33 PM

I'm buying a friend a Cradle of Filth ticket for Christmas, along with my own....only problem is I cant decide between presale 20 dollar tickets or the special VIP tickets in which I get to meet the band, get into the venue early and get a T-shirt only for VIP ticket-holders. Its only 30 dollars more but since I'm buying two its like 40 dollars vs 100 and I'm not sure if I have that cash right now.

Just take the money, shred it, and put it in the closest garbage bin.
That is a more productive way to use your money, trust me.

lol. But a show like that would be so entertaining. And to meet them would be so much fun. They drink like crazy, maybe I could score me a few shots before the show.

sadly none, I was supposed to see Raised Fist but they cancelled again :(

Trauma 12-15-2006 03:29 PM

Going to see legendary locals Anaphora, Kicking Jimmy, and Common Misconception tonight at the Token Lounge for my birthday.

It's Anaphora's last show :(

5 years they've been together!
I went to my first show of their's about 2 and a half years ago, it went by quick.

I'll probably hang out with the band afterwards and play some beer games.
Should be fun!

Sweet. They're coming near me but it would be like a three hour drive so I'm still undecided.

MEN Arena innit.

No I'm not massive on metal but I'm a big fan of Iron Maiden. They put on a great show, Eddie came on in a tank near the end. The setlist was the whole of the new album (which may I note is the best thing they have done since Seventh Son) plus Fear of the Dark, Iron Maiden, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Evil That Men Do and they closed with Hallowed be thy Name. :)

coffeeshop 12-18-2006 10:30 AM

I also went to the Deltasonic Christmas Gig in Liverpool on Saturday which was an amazing night out. The Coral were simply amazing. The Arctic Monkeys appeared from nowhere and sang Put Your Dukes Up John with The Little Flames and the Dead 60's were also on good form.

It's definitely worth the drive.

Friday 12-18-2006 11:42 AM

I went to see Madness on Saturday night. It was a very good gig apart from some middle aged skinhead punching my friend in the face.

shandapanda 12-18-2006 12:12 PM

I was dragged to a Bob Dylan concert there a while back.
We had bad seats...top tier near the back.

The acoustics were terrible and Dylan, being Dylan didn't help much either.
