jealous!

Interpol @ Liverpool Guild in December :D yayyy

So, I bought my ticket for Houston's Free Press Summer Festival. It's on the weekend prior to my 21st birthday so I'm excited about the upcoming week in general. The line-up isn't that great but I'm sure just the overall vibe of the festival and the couple acts I want to see should suffice. Here's a couple of the headliners and I'll post a link to the stage guide also.

-Stars
-Givers
-Municipal Waste
-Slim Thug
-Dead Prez

Maybe some of you can give me some advice on who I should and shouldn't watch?

Ah! On July 27th, I will be attending a William Fitzsimmons' show. I am super excited about that. He's one of my favorites.

there are a lot of bands on there I've not heard of, but you should definitely watch Girl Talk!

I'll be at East Village in London tonight for D&BTV...

Not really a gig I know, but I haven´t been out much recently!

I'm not very familiar with Girl Talk so I'll definitely have to do some listening to them before the festival. The other three were definitely on my to-watch list. The whole reason why I bought the ticket actually. The Flaming Lips, Ra Ra Riot, Stars all for 30 dollars plus a ton of local and other lesser known bands is a good price to me!

That it is all great bands, i'm curious to know whether The Flaming Lips play any of thier older stuff these days.
